Creating a community-led library provision for the residents of Earlsdon, Coventry.
In early 2017, following consultation across the city, Coventry City Council announced changes to library services in Coventry. As part of the proposal, Earlsdon Library will close unless the community comes forward to take it over.
Earlsdon Library Friends is a small group of residents who believe that the services the library offers must be maintained and have come together to look at ways to make this happen.
We’ve been talking to residents across Earlsdon and with the Council to start to develop a realistic, sustainable plan for continuing library provision in Earlsdon. We will be using this site to keep you updated on our progress and let you know how you can get involved.
