Earlsdon Library Friends

Creating a community-led library provision for the residents of Earlsdon, Coventry.

About us

In early 2017, following consultation across the city, Coventry City Council announced changes to library services in Coventry. As a result of this consultation, in September 2017, Earlsdon Library is becoming a community-led library to prevent it from closure.

Earlsdon Library Friends is a small group of Earlsdon residents who believe that the services the library offers must be maintained. We have been working with Coventry City Council and local residents for the past year to develop a realistic, sustainable plan for keeping Earlsdon library open.

Earlsdon Community Library Ltd is a not-for-profit company that has been formed by Earlsdon Library Friends to run the library on behalf of the local community.
