Welcome to our first update on Earlsdon Library Friends’ efforts to maintain a sustainable library service and community facility in Earlsdon.
We’ve been overwhelmed by the level of support in the community and want to thank you all for the time you’ve taken to complete our questionnaire or talk to us on the high street. Over 300 local residents have shared their views with us and many of you have indicated that you’d like to get more involved in the project. It is clear that there is a real interest and viability in a community-led library and facility.
We’re carefully considering what you’ve told us and are engaging with the Council to develop a realistic, sustainable plan for continuing library provision in Earlsdon. In the new year, we’re planning on running an event for the community to come and learn more about our plans, understand how you can get involved and share your thoughts with us. Look out for an email from us in January with more details.
If you’ve got any thoughts or questions on the future of Earlsdon Library you can get in contact by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or follow us on Twitter (@EarlsdonLF) or Facebook (@EarlsdonLibraryFriends).
Thank you for your ongoing support. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
Earlsdon Library Friends
